Sean Smith is the newest member of the Lawler Construction team. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Sean is a graduate Civil Engineer out of the University of Dayton. He brings a strong work ethic and desire to succeed with him as evidenced by his multiple accomplishments. While carrying a full engineering course load with a strong GPA, he also achieved great success on the football field as a 4-time 1st team Pioneer League honoree. After graduation, Sean went to work in the NFL being signed by two different teams in 2019 and 2020. With the pandemic of 2020 emerging, Lawler Construction was lucky to be contacted by Sean as he made the difficult decision to move from his great passion of football into what will be his life’s work in the construction industry. Sean is a personable yet serious person and is already proving a great asset to the firm. Starting in November of 2020 on the project management side of the business, Sean will move between this area and estimating as he goes through several training sequences during his early tenure with the company. His decision to move from the east coast to Ohio was a conscious one due to the attitudes and ways of life that he has experienced and seen here and throughout the state. Although he will be a Flyer forever, we hope that Sean will also become a Buckeye as he builds his future here in Ohio with Lawler Construction. Please welcome Sean when you have the opportunity.
